Kensington & Chelsea College Reap the Benefits of the CPC Case Study

Kensington & Chelsea College first used the CPC in August 2005 and £49,000 was spent in that year. The uptake by College stakeholders since that time has been sporadic as College staff were not fully aware of the range of goods and services available through the CPC’s frameworks and agreements. More recently, following advice given by Tenet Education Services Ltd as part of the Procurement Management Service contract with the College, more advantage has been taken of the opportunities available through the CPC. In doing so the College has been able to improve the efficiency of its procurement function in many areas ranging in value from cleaning contracts to print toners. In 2010/11 the total expenditure using CPC arrangements has increased to £640,000. The CPC is continuing to increase its portfolio which has continued to assist the College.
