This paper came about in response to a desire1 to find an effective way to share and disseminate best practice on implementation of the Public Sector Food Procurement Initiative (PSFPI). This paper is designed to inform and stimulate creative thinking by procurement officers and others directly involved in enabling more sustainable approaches to public sector catering.
