Selection - grounds for exclusion

The legislation gives the following list of grounds for the selection of potential tenderers to participate in a tender exercise. Potential tenderers must:

  • Not be a criminal ie be part of a criminal organisation or found guilty of corruption, fraud, money laundering etc (New)
     
  • Not be a bankrupt or be in the process of being wound up 
     
  • Not be the subject of proceeding for a declaration of bankruptcy
     
  • Not have been the subject of a judgement concerning professional misconduct
     
  • Not have any outstanding social security requirements
     
  • Not have unfulfilled obligations relating to taxes
     
  • Not be guilty of any serious misrepresentation if supplying information in relation to the tender
