In this section you will find a simple list of good ideas for improving efficiency and making savings within your college – these are all taken from real examples from FE Colleges in England. For more information on any of the items please contact the FE Procurement Development Team. These are given to provide food for thought and help you identify areas for improvement in your college – obviously not for you to try and attempt all of them – simply to inspire and generate ideas.
The case studies give more detail and you are welcome to download these.
All efficiency gains and savings from these projects / areas of work can be recorded in the Efficiency Measurement Model.
